Community savings, run in the open

Bachat Committee groups and savings plans, run transparently.

BC Manager is where a community runs its BC (chit) groups and community savings plans — monthly bidding, UPI pay-and-confirm collection, live late-fee tracking and bilingual reminders, with every rupee visible to the member it belongs to. बचत समिति का पूरा हिसाब — एक जगह।

Registration is free. Joining a specific group or plan needs organiser approval.

What you get

  • Monthly bid recorded once — everyone's installment recalculates instantly
  • Pre-filled UPI link or QR with your exact amount due
  • Pay-and-confirm: you mark paid, the organiser confirms it
  • You see only your own dues, ledger and bid history
  • Savings plans with plain-language, clearly-labelled projections

How it works

Four steps from signing up to seeing your whole savings history in one place.

1. Join a group

Register with your mobile number, pick a group or savings plan, and send a join request. A Sanchalak (organiser) reviews it before any money obligation starts.

2. Contribute monthly

Each month you pay a fixed installment by UPI. Scan the group's QR or tap the pre-filled UPI link — the amount and reference note are filled in for you.

3. Bid or grow

In a BC group, one member each month takes the pool at a discount (the bid) and everyone else's installment drops. In a savings plan, your contributions build towards a maturity date.

4. Track everything

Reminders for bid day, dues and overdue late fees arrive in the app and can be copied into your WhatsApp group. Your full payment history stays visible.

Transparency is the trust feature

We do not ask you to trust a promise. We show you the mechanics, and every record is visible to the person it concerns.

UPI pay-and-confirm

Money moves directly between you and the organiser's UPI ID — the app never holds your funds. You mark "I've paid" with a UPI reference or screenshot, and the payment stays in "pending confirmation" until the organiser confirms it. Both sides have a record.

Approval checkpoint before joining

Anyone can register and browse. Becoming an active member of a group or plan requires an organiser (or adviser) to approve your request, so no one is added to a payment obligation silently — and groups stay closed to their real members.

Plain-language plan disclosures

Savings plan growth is always labelled projected, not guaranteed, and every plan page states who funds the return — the group or organiser, never other members' contributions.

Placeholder section

Group track record — coming soon

Number of groups run, total contributions collected and completed cycles will be published here from the organiser's own records. No estimated or illustrative figures will be used.

Member stories

In the words of people running committees with us.

No stories have been added yet.

We publish only real, named stories that members have agreed to share. Nothing here is invented or illustrative.

How your data is protected

Real accounts, real sessions

Sign-in runs on Supabase authentication with your own password — not a shared login. Passwords are never stored by this app.

Row-level security on every table

Database rules (RLS) enforce that a member can read and write only their own records. Organiser-only actions are checked on the server, not in the browser.

Admin-confirmed payments

A payment counts as received only after the organiser confirms it. Uploaded receipts are stored privately and shared through short-lived links.
